Enjoys Songkran Before 2-Week Holiday:

On April 4th, Open
Gates held its end of the second
term party which
coincided with Songkran, the Thai New Year. Fun was had by all as each
class built Thai style sand castles known as Chedii's. After that, the
students and teachers exchanged the traditional water blessing. Then
the fun really started as water began flying everywhere! Considering
the very hot temperature, the cool water was welcoming. The students
were then given a two week holiday and began the third term on April
21st
which runs through to July 17th.
