to Open Gates School
Welcome to Open Gates
About Us - We are located on the lovely
island of Koh Samui in the Surat Thani province. Open Gates is situated
in the Bang Rak community across the street from the ocean with
overlooking views of neighboring Koh Phangan.
Our students come from over 14 different countries, and the teaching
staff are university educated with a diverse mix of teaching
qualification and experience, thus creating the quintessential
environment to realize our aim of "Building Global Citizens". To
embrace this goal, our school community focuses on helping the students:

quality academic instruction, Open Gates will prepare students to help

Open
Gates is a licensed Cambridge
International Education Centre. We have a
fusion of
multilingual and
multicultural children from all over the world. Therefore, our teaching
team is a blend of Master’s of Education,
Bachelor’s of
Education, PGDE, PGCE and ESL educated teachers. This enables us to
effectively teach native and non-native English speakers.
Our team follows the British
National Curriculum therefore enabling an effective teaching
and
learning environment to ensure that our children are the next
generation of Global Citizens.
At the same time, the owner, managing
director and
principal are parents of Open Gates’ students. They center on
creating a family atmosphere nurturing each student to reach his or her
greatest potential.
